		<description>You make a great point. They prefer the sales because I&#039;m not sure their purpose motive was ever present with this campaign. It came off as inauthentic because it screamed profit motive.  &lt;br&gt;You&#039;re right that too few companies try to address local, community-level problems with their philanthropy. It&#039;s just not sexy to own issues that are so close to home.</description>

Was it just a happy coincidence? Either way  KFC is getting a lot negative publicity, but a lot of sales. Which do you think they prefer?&lt;br&gt;But there are real losers in this whole scenario and that is the community they are a part of. Generally speaking, KFC&#039;s tend to be in areas of greater need. KFC could have put some of their philanthropic dollars more towards the helping those communities, much like other chains such as Whole Foods does, while reaping the benefits of a positive image of social responsibility.</description>
